My friends from North Carolina just left (producer Andrew R Roger’s, his wife Mieke and their child Alex)., after a two week visit. I am wallowing in self pity, wishing I could be heading south as well, to escape the gloomy weather that has descended upon us. The wind is blowing at hurricane force, clouds are low and the threat of snow is in the air. Several trees have blown over, where our land yaught is moored, and one very nearly squashed us. (Thankfully, the tree fell just infront of our motor home, so only the branches brushed us). I am sitting in our bus, writing this, and getting motion sickness just from the wind that is swaying the whole vehicle none too gently. Good thing she’s 41,000lbs…shouldn’t get blown over…….

Can’t believe we barely missed the hurricane winds! We saw the dust storm as it blew past the airport….

It was great seeing/hanging with you guys in the land yaught for 2 weeks. BTW it was 70 today in sunny NC…. No pressure but you might want to draw up the anchor and head to balmier waters soon….
