Just sitting here, watching the lake through the trees, marveling at the erie stillness around me.

Thinking how well the sound would carry if one were to plug in an electric guitar into an amp and blast some notes across the water.

Sketchy internet service is threatening to terminate my connection at any moment, which is likely contributing to my sudden mental blockage…I sit here, staring vacantly at my computer screen, waiting for some intelligible words to form in front of me.

*sigh*

I think that’s about it for now. I got nothin’.

My friends from North Carolina just left (producer Andrew R Roger’s, his wife Mieke and their child Alex)., after a two week visit. I am wallowing in self pity, wishing I could be heading south as well, to escape the gloomy weather that has descended upon us. The wind is blowing at hurricane force, clouds are low and the threat of snow is in the air. Several trees have blown over, where our land yaught is moored, and one very nearly squashed us. (Thankfully, the tree fell just infront of our motor home, so only the branches brushed us). I am sitting in our bus, writing this, and getting motion sickness just from the wind that is swaying the whole vehicle none too gently. Good thing she’s 41,000lbs…shouldn’t get blown over…….
